soft goth growing into new skin chest weightless breathe easier with
boxers on under my hot topic pants i loiter at the mall with you sharing
stale gum from the candy dispenser and losing at air hockey every time
you make me feel like a boy in the ways i want to feel like a boy the way
your tiger’s eye curls and flashing gaze burn through my skin the way
i know you’ll be there when i need my epipen and the way i know you’ll
smile at the shiny little treasures i collect for you like two magpies in love
i’m the boy that will sit next to you whenever you want company and
the boy that will fall down cry laughing euphoric when you propose to him
in the romance section of the bookstore café that’s our spot
