Call For Submissions for a multi-genre anthology to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop. We want your best poetry, fiction, nonfiction, hybrid work, lyrics, songs, and art created with a hip-hop vibe. Send us Old skool, new skool, and everything in between. We especially encourage queer and BIPOC writers and artists to please submit. We look forward to seeing what you have got.

Thank you for trusting us with your work. We are excited to read it. Like you, we are writers. We will do our best to review submissions within 4-8 weeks. But we might take a bit longer. If you haven’t heard from us in 12 weeks, feel free to drop us a line.

Guidelines:

  • Submissions must be the author’s original work; We are not accepting translations at the moment.

  • Works of prose (fiction and non-fiction) may be up to 5,000 words per submission.
  • Work can be previously published, but you need to have the publication rights.
  • Song Submissions: Please submit links to your songs. We cannot accept song files.
  • Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please notify us if your work is accepted for publication elsewhere.
